Well, I've caught up on emails, and all my wordgames on Facebook, chatted a bit online and did some late night email invites to surveys (yeah work after dinner).
Haven't had time to go over Amanda's updates to the marketing plan (sorry!!) that she's been working on.
I really need to get on this before my Toronto trip in a couple of weeks (now that the garbage strike there is allegedly over I'll go).
Still trying to figure out the most cost effective to launch our new (and brilliant imho) HR employee sat. survey product.
The whole sentiment of build a better mouse trap & the world will beat a path to your door is of course bullshit. You will die a very poor inventor of a very fine mousetrap that no one has heard of without marketing.
I speak from experience - been there before e.g. our facebook research engagment platform created in 2007 - what's that? was what I heard then, and had no marketing budget or plan for that matter and now everyone has this in some form (though still not a good as ours).
This time will be different. But not tonight.
Time to pack it in. World domination can wait another day :-)
Ciao
