So today was chaos. Meet MM on Albert Street and after a delayed start we got into viewing & dissecting yesterday's video taping. So now I have a DVD (in Mac proprietary format- grrr. Mary?) showing me what I do right & what I do wrong in a variety of simulated situations.

Apparently I can relay visually & to great effect how the prehensile snout of a rhinoceros works. Not sure I can work that into client presentations & conference talks, but who knows :-)

All in all it confirmed what I know, but it helps to have this recorded & dissected by a third party. What I did see was that I wasn't always as bad as I thought, some parts I actually liked (and when watching yourself this has to be pretty damn good when you're as self-critical as I am)

So not all is lost, I have I think potential. But I have been advised to tone down some references like the explanation of unsubstantiated "norms" as being numbers they potentially pulled out of their ass. Hmmm. But they did. Oh well tone it down. OK. And for the rest crank it up. Sigh --I'll get it down pat.

And now I'm sooooooooo far behind on work it's stupid.

Sigh again. Back to the grind. Adios.
