Tools like these are what is WRONG with much user activity on Twitter & other Social Media - Robots are not SOCIAL (I really shouldn’t have to say this).

It is NOT all about the numbers, numbers by themselves have no purpose & auto-tweeting like a crazed maniac will not help establish social relations with clients, suppliers or friends.

People using bots to extend their reach REALLY need to sit down and think about their actions. This is SOCIAL SPAM and it is no tastier than the email version - regardless of what you think of the luncheon "meat" (eww).

That being said the use of robots to filter, collect, alert us of pattern matches from the data stream is fine (and even advised) but not to generate outbound CONTENT.
