A lot of the striking architecture of the city (which is a very low profile city elevation-wise) is most evident from the river because the Ottawa side of the river is elevated substantially from the waterline. I wouldn't quite call them cliffs but well treed vertical rock face works.

As well we spent a couple of hours in the Byward market, cruising the vendor stands, seeing buskers, people watching, drinking beer and eating on a patio setting. The rain held off which was nice.

There were enough fresh berries laid out in the stalls to fill a few transport trailers. Tonnes of (by weight) of fruit I figure. And the flowers were brilliant (pics also on Facebook).

And then I got sleepy. Benadryl (allergies) beers & fresh air equals an early bed & 10 hours of sleep. I needed that anyway.

Monday has arrived, shirt ironed (with a collar clearly labeled "non-iron" --right), and a suit is laid out. I'm being filmed this morning (for diagnostic purposes) at a training session.Thrill me. Time for another coffee.
